As such, this post outlines Fandom’s proposal to the Harry Potter Wiki to participate in, and benefit from, a comprehensive cross-linking strategy to a separate Hogwarts Legacy Wiki to be established by Fandom ahead of the game’s launch.
While Fandom will be creating a separate wiki, we would like to engage the community at Harry Potter Wiki to support and assist this effort, and benefit from the creation of the gaming-specific content that can be linked to. After taking into account the changes needed to be made on the HPW to allow gaming-specific content, and the appetite for a separate wiki from Fandom community members and users, Fandom will be supporting the creation of a new wiki for Hogwarts Legacy. Barring the release of the final proposed Fantastic Beasts films, Hogwarts Legacy is going to be the guaranteed source of new Wizarding World content for the next few years.
Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world action RPG set to release on February 10, 2023. Hello everyone! As there has been some discussion lately about Hogwarts Legacy and whether or not a separate wiki will be created for it (Fandom has previously closed ones in the past), this post is to address that issue and to lay out how Fandom will be covering Hogwarts Legacy moving forward.
